The Kleptones - Care (video by Tom Beg)
The Kleptones - Care (video by Tom Beg) from The Videotones on Vimeo.
The video mix for ‘Care’ takes an unthematic approach to create an abstract and humorous jumble of pop culture references, archived footage and flying dogs.
Faith No More’s original video for the song ‘We Care A lot’ has been cut and spliced to form the main basis of the video, while the lyrics ‘it's a dirty job but someone's gotta do it’ have been interpreted by taking clips featuring a number of serious dudes, on a serious mission, kicking some serious ass.
The video creator Tom Beg has a blog which can be found at: thomasbeg.blogspot.com/

Q-tensils Narrative Project
The final video for a group project involving three people for a project entitled Narrative. The aim of the project was to create a spoof of the James Bond universe using the character of Q who has sold-out and started his own TV shopping channel where he is selling an assortment of poorly thought out and over engineered gadgets with little success causing him to have a slight mental breakdown.
My responsibilites and involvement with this project were the art direction, modelling, texturing and lighting of the set. The animation of the Q character, shot placements as well as heavy involvement with the editing of the final video.
Produced in Maya and Premiere Pro.

Q's Diabolical Machine 'The Grinder'

Some horror styled renders for an upcoming group project entitled 'Q-Tensils'. A short spoof where a hapless version of the iconic character 'Q' from James Bond has resorted to selling his bizaare range of gadgets on his own shopping channel, with mixed success. This is his masterpiece.
Credit to fellow Project Q member Raj Dhillon who designed the machine as well as providing the models for the camera and spotlights.
